You will not find a better one in this Rare Color..
This is the one you want, they DO NOT make them like this AnyMore!!
All Original but the back cover over the pots. I had Frets tOn The Net make one, out of correct aluminum black metal. I had to make a template and mail to him. It has a few chips in paint, All shown very clear. 2 or 3 on lower headstock, 1 by trem arm, 1 on lower body by jack. The bolt for bridge on low E string side has part broke off. It still works as is. The Case is Original and clean, no smells. Non Smoker owned all these years. Latches spring open nice*
I set it up, it plays like DAM Butter Melted in the Microwave lead playing low action animal!
Stay in Tune for Life... Because Of Mr Floyd Rose!
The Best Here!
Has TM above Jackson lettering on headstock(instead of circled R. As early Jackson's have*)
Binding on Neck with Shark Fin inlays
Jackson had a factory in San Dimas, CA from 1982-1986. Afterwards, they moved to Ontario, CA and eventually after the Fender buyout in 2001, the Fender facility in Corona, CA.
San Dimas era guitars are considered to be some of the best guitars Jackson made. Back then, there was no such thing as a Jackson/Charvel USA production model. It was either a mass-produced import (from Japan mostly) or a made-to-order USA. That being said, not every order was "custom". While a buyer could put an order through a licensed dealer for a guitar with custom specs, dealers would also order a handful of guitars to keep on stock. There were some "standard" configurations (HSS/HH, w/ Kahler) and the dealer would usually just specify the body shape (say they wanted 2 Soloists, a Rhoads and a Star).
There were also two general levels; Student models that had rosewood fretboard and dots and Pro models with ebony boards are MOP shark fins.
This guitar is amazing.
This is the price. Rare Color and this is a Great One. You can go buy a parts changed out junk on evilBay from a pawn shop sale because of person wanted drug money. Sorry people that sell stuff to a pawn shop are out to get dope money..in my opinion. This is from the San Dimas California Custom Shop.. Hand Made. Hair Ball Certified*****
