1982 FULLERTON PROTO RARE 1957 RI FENDER STRAT *UNREAL FIND*

1982 FULLERTON PROTO RARE 1957 RI FENDER STRAT *UNREAL FIND*

WELL THIS ONCE IN A LIFE TOME CHANCE!

1 OWNER, BOUGHT IN 1982. CAME FROM A BIG FENDER DEALER, AS WAS 1st TO GET THE NEW DAN SMITH "I'M BRINGING "FENDER" BACK ON THE MAP REISSUE OF A VINTAGE STRAT

100% ORIGINAL BUT HAS 1982 5 WAY SWITCH THAT CAME WITH THIS GUITAR, ORIG 3 WAY INCLUDED

YES THAT BRIDGE IS ORIGINAL. AS I SAID PROTO TYPE THIS IS. MOST LIKELY EARLIEST ONE AROUND.

LOOKING AT THIS JUST REMINDS ME OF LEO BUILDING A STRAT IN 1954, AS YOU REMEMBER MANY CHANGES IN PROTO TYPE 54 STRAT'S. LOOK AT THIS BABY. THERE IS EXTRA ROUTER MARKINGS IN BRIDGE PICKUP AREA. CONTROL POT AREA, INSIDE BRIDGE BLOCK, INSIDE NECK POCKET. MOST IF NOT ALL HAD LITTLE ROUTING IN CONTROL AREA, THIS IS ALL OVER. YES FENDER WAS MAKING STRAT'S FOR OVER 50 YEARS, BUT IN 1971 WENT TO 3 BOLT. 76-82 STRAT'S JUST SUCK. (3 BOLTS). PEOPLE AT FENDER WERE NOT THERE MAKING VINTAGE SPEC 1957 STRAT'S.

This Strat is Part of HISTORY, Right here, Right Now!

It is one of the Best Playing Sounding Stratocaster's in my Shop, In My Stash at this time. The Color and earned broke in wear is just SWEET. sweet. SWEET! It plays like a Dream. Red Bobbin Pickups, 6th week 82 pot date. Get over the bridge. It is a Proto Type, yes Fender went to the Fender Fender Vintage Bridge, but Fender chanced much to be more like Vintage in 1st year. This is Fender's 1st take. You can just imagine All Fender's best Dan Smith and All the Old Timers, Building this Strat. It went to a Big Fender dealer to give the New Fender a try, a approval. You can not go by the ser#. A neck date of 7-30-82 had V000559 #. 5-27-82 had lower ser#, this is 1 day later dated and ser# is way off. Fender had the neck plates in a big box, they just reached in and grab them. What is the kicker here is all the routing that was done to get the fit, and the early 1982 bridge that was used on 76-82 Strat's, but the trem arm is 57 bends as all the other 82-84 Fullerton's. All adds up, All from Pro Player 1 owner, was turned on by Fender dealer as 1st to get the 1957 Reissue's. These Guitar's are Collectible, Tone' full , Just Sweet!

No Trades, No Offers. This I should keep, and just mite. It is Part of History, This is Bragging Rights, This is Sweet Playing, Excellent to mint Shape. It is MY BEST FULLERTON HAD IN! EVER PLAYED! EVER SEEN!

This Rare Find period. Life is to Live, Live it*
