If this was 1968 or 69 price be double.. You really think a 68 or 9 be that much...OR ANY better??? NOT!
This is a Big C/U Size Neck.. No Bull one of top 10 Strat's I ever offered. It's so Dam Bell Tone... It's just as MUCH Fun playing un-plugged as threw Amp!~
I was 1st on to take pickup assembly off since Fender built it!
It has aged to Perfect Banana Yellow Cream. Strat or case has no smells.. Non Smoker owner. Heck the latches spring open like it did when they are new.
Orig Trem arm, bridge cover strap included. Has a old 60's grey guitar cord that works, and a new set of 1970's complete set of strings. Case is the mid 1960's one with Fender badge... (Not the later mid 70's black case with the Fender, but they have a circled R above the Fender, and are reddish inside)
Fret are the bigger Fender factory ones, and have a lot of meat left. I set the Strat up with .001 neck relief.. They is much room for adjustment either way. I just like a straight a neck as I can get. It resonates and plays like dam butter people... I mean I'm getting attached to this Strat. 7lbs, cool ass color.. history, vibe, 1 owner, clean, no stories.. I'm proud to offer it.. I keep freaking talking about it.. I'll put it in my pile. It's not a everyday find.
Fender really stopped making Maple necks in early 1959.. You see really None till 1968-1971..
The last 3 pictures are next to a real 1968 Maple Cap White Strat I just sold.. Pretty close to that and a whole lot cheaper!
