No smells, Just GREAT Vintage.. The color inside is Orange , Not Red as some pics look. Clearly Correct Orange Felt.
In 1968 Fender used the 66 cases with just Fender, then in 68 changed to Fender with Tail under Fender.. So I see 1966 cases in 1972 and the story goes on. Fender just built it back in the day. Not dang perfect like know days. That's why all of us born in 1962 (me) and 60's, 50's are just better stock than now days.. because we are No perfect.. WOW that was a rant.. :) The pic of 68 Tele is a Paisley that was re finished in Brown.. Well this goes back to us from the 60's.. Some were dumb! Sorry even buzzed up back in the day. I Never stripped a Paisley..??? Still 6lb 6oz Animal. Just got to like Brown.
