Nice to get with Original Metal Backing Shield..that fits the Guard correct, because it came on the Strat 45+ years ago.

This is from a Jan 1968 Strat, as Fender used full metal shield as they did from Mid 1959 to Beginning 1968. Then they went to the Foil with Square bottom stick on shield for later 68 to mid 1970's
