1965 Orig Gibson Firebird III Inverness Green Custom Color

This came from front man and guitar player of Material Issue , Jim Ellison

1965 Inverness Green Poly in Color*... I have pics next to blue strap etc to show it is Green in color. Not Blue.. Hard color to film

Ser # 327300 hard to film, as Gibson painted over the in pressed number.. But you can read it

In 2014 Vintage price guide this color is $11,000 low 14k High..

No Bull.. I love this guitar.. It is just different than any other I own.. The Tremolo works and it stays in Tune.. neat!

This does not have a painted headstock like "Most" Custom Color Gibson did.. I like that.. It looks way better in my book*

No breaks ever. anywhere. Has some weather checking but very minor

This one came with the Quality Double Line Klusons.. All Metal.. Most have the cheap white tips

This has the earlier toggle switch with cap for selection of pickups.. After they went to a cheap (never works right) slider switch

All original but the pots.. 3 are correct 1973 500k Gibson, 1 is a WD (USA) 500k. Im not positive 3 are even 1973, you can see the dates because of solder. For 100% I know 1 pots is a WD. Go from there. 2014 value on these are 11k low, 14k high in this color. Heck with all that, find another 1965 in this Custom Color at ANY Price to buy... I can't find not even 1.. Making is a Rare as Heck find.. Period.!

The knobs are not original but NOS 1970's Gibson ones I had.. The Case I don't know if orig.. It is in solid shape and no smells.....
