1961 John Cruz 2000 Fender Custom Shop Strat Neck With Tuners

Listen up.. little known facts and info..:)

Fender started doing the Real Custom shop PRE CBS line back in 1996. 1996 to about end of 1999 Fender built them, shipped them to Vince Cunetto, Vince finished and reliced them. Back to Fender, the builder put together. Back then you ordered, paid, and waited about 1 year to get. Hey, Fender didn't know buying beat up guitar's would work

This is a 12/11/00 built neck, by the Best then and now Master Craftsmen John Cruz. He built the neck, finished December 2000. Fender laid the Nitro finish on and was done Jan 26, 2001. (which is 3 weeks after John finished building). Then John assembled and was ready for shipping, 3/19/01. So 13 weeks there, plus I don't know how long John Cruz started. Whole point in this write up. These are THE BEST Tone Rockets. Time, The Best, the HIGHEST Quality wood was used from 1996 to all the way threw 2001. I do not even buy 2002. Big difference from 01 to 02 Strat's. I am a 1 man show, I get, buy and sell and own what I think is the Best. Never will brag, but if I do not know Fender, who does!

Look at the Highly flamed, Birdseye Maple used in this neck. Same, Same wood as used in the 6-7k Mary Kaye Blond Cunettos. You see how long it took to build this Strat. This is from OLD School Fender. Then, they turned it into a computer Mass run of Custom Shop. Old is Better!
