1961 CHUBTONE Fender Strat Boutique Pickups

Mike Gray built some fine Strat pickups in very low numbers. He apparently doesn't retail his pickups any longer, never had a site, and just used Ebay when he had some to sell. He built and hand-wound his pickups to vintage specs with proper vintage materials,you'll see nothing but rave reviews for his '61, '62, and '63 pickups. The '61's are apparently the most mellow of his sets, emulating the lower output of most 60's Strats with 6K, 6.1K, and 6.9K, wound and labeled specifically for neck-mid-bridge. These have become impossible to find and I don't know anyone who has a set for sale, although there's a single middle pickup on Ebay for $229

This is my second set I ever had in last 7-8 years. All the reviews are 10 out of 10..
