That tip that is boken, is glued on the metal shield. Well on the Strat the screw holds it down and in place so don't even notice. All this came from Same Early 1960 Strat. These Pickguards were used ONLY on Slaboard Fender Stratocaster.The age and wear looks so darn perfect! Also no break at top pickup screw hole, and not hacked out at truss rod area. It is Also not shrunk up. It Just plain Rocks in this day and age! 1 more thing, look at the rubber spacers> Perfect shape and still stuck on the pickup covers since Leo put them there 47 years ago.
