This 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard reissue was produced by the Gibson Custom shop and is true to all of the original instrument’s features and characteristics, and reflects the best of Gibson's past, and that is exactly what makes these instruments so desirable today

To include Gibson’s traditional hand-carved "Super-figured" maple top and solid, non-weight relieved mahogany body, Which weighs in at a nice 8lbs 4oz.

The headstock is made from Holly head veneer, as opposed to the less attractive fiber, just like it was in 1959, and the vintage-style tulip tuners are mounted in a straight line, Exactly as they were on the original in 1959.

The 24 ¾-inch scale length neck is honed from one solid piece of mahogany, Just as the original, and attached to the body by hand using a long neck tenon one of the Les Paul’s more distinguishing characteristics of the 1950s. The neck is topped by a Highly Figured 22-fret madagascan rosewood fingerboard outfitted with Beautiful trapezoid inlays matching the size and color of the originals perfectly.

Of course, two of Gibson’s legendary Burstbucker pickups deliver all the subtle variations of true, classic "Patent Applied For" Humbucker tone by using historically "unmatched" bobbin windings and Alnico II magnets,All Hand Wound just like in 1959. Other historical appointments include CTS potentiometers,True Bumble bee capacitors,Hand Laid rolled crème-colored fingerboard binding,As well as hand laid single-ply crème-colored binding around the body, and a period-correct thin toggleswitch washer and jackplate.

This 1959 Les Paul Standard Custom Shop 1959 reissue also comes in the much more desireable as well as more Expensive Gloss finish,and triple nickel dipped chrome hardware, and with the Gibson Custom case and Factory certificate of authenticity flip book.

The Gibson Custom Shop team took inspiration from the book 'Beauty of the Burst' and finished this guitar in what they call 'Page 58 / Page 59' Burst Finish "Very rare" , a reference to the pages in the book this burst most resembles

This instrument is 100% Brand new and un-played, includes all hang tags and coa. This les paul was solely purchased for investment purposes. List on this guitar was $10,225.00
