1982 Early Fullerton 1957 RI USA Collector Strat
These are Bell Tone Hard to find USA Strats. Don't we all wish Fender stayed as good as the old Stuff????
Pot date 8206 (all 3). That's 6th week 1982.
Neck ser# matches the neck pocket. Only the earlyest had these ID ser #
Body date is 6-82 & 57 in back trem spring area. THen again Only the 1st year early ones did this
Neck plate has ser# V001584. The numers went to 4,000 in 1982. Again pretty low #
It weighs 7-lbs. Has Original case and goodies. The routing inside is from Fender. If you know the EARLY Fullerton 1957 & 1962 Reissues early had extra control area routing to get the pickup assembly to fit corret.. After All Fender was making a Stratocaster to be like PRE CBS Days. There was trail and error. AS IN MOST PRE CBS STRATS. But then again, those are the Strat's that rock!
You just don't find these Fullerton's that are Killer Everyday!
YOU WANT A 1957 LOOKING STRAT THAT L@@KS THE PART, BUT MORE IMPORTANT SOUNDS IT? GET SOME 29 YEAR OLD FENDER WOOD IN YOUR HANDS. THIS IS A PLAYER AND A COLLECTOR!
