This is a list of everything that has been done to it by Paul Redmond " BUZZY "

Top carve tweaked to look like late 50's Neck profile reshaped: Retains all of the original thickness and girth but shoulders are slightly tapered for very comfy real '57 feel (It feels like the post 2010 Historics with the more accurate profile).

Neck thickness as measured with digital caliper in decimal inches:

1st fret: .916

5th fret: .957

11th fret: 1.01

In case you don't have a chart for comparison, do a search at the forums for "thickness" and or "girth". This is perfect for a real '57 feel.

Inlays: The stock inlays removed and replaced with Retrospec vintage spec.

Complete refinish: Was goldtop/natural back, now is NOS bronze powder goldtop with a dark back. Inside of the pickup cavities were taped over to contrast the original goldtop finish. Greening and darkening has started, checking becoming more noticeable as time marches on.

Weather checked: 100% nitrocellulose lacquer which has no tone killing plasticizers so it Checks the same way those from the 50's did, no razor Knife used. No fake looking checking ie; "spider web" or "shattered windshield" which is what some get from using "freeze spray" ie; cans of compressed air sprayed up-side down. Also to note, the stock finish on a Historic will not weather check in this fashion. A stock Historic finish can not attain weather checking like this thru treatments of any kind because it has plasticizers in it, which also absorbs some of the vibrations up making it sound less resonant.

The Binding was not changed but it is improved due to using better color of toner than a stock Historic.

Tone: After work completion more detail and brilliance as the thick plasticizer laden tone choking finish was replaced with my vintage type nitrocellulose lacquer.

PLEKED frets - This is a factory Pleked model, very low action. Nut is also factory stock as this is part of the Plek treatment
