Go try and Sell your $30,000 to 80k 1954 1st year Fender Straocaster without the CORRECT Tweed Case. Go ahead, see if you get the going value. There wasn't made 1954 Strat's made to begin with. There will be a day, You will Never get a case for a 54. Even now you see maybe 2-3 for sale a year.. Not with the Investment Strat...
This case is correct for mid 1954 to 1955. How often you see a REAL PRE CBS Tweed 54 Case for sale? NEVER.. Unless it's Big money.. Sale is for case only, I threw some case candy and a shop Strat in there to give you the L@@K
No Smells, Case is Solid. Has all latches, All Feet.. SAll hinges..... all parts are there. It had a bake lite handle when was new, but bake lite (handle part) is gone. But metal part is solid and works fine. The case has repaired or made Solid with some gluing.. Pictures show all..
