Alder Wood. Weight is 4lbs. Strat together was 7lbs 13 oz.. It was played all these years and has natural earned wear. The Color is dead on PRE CBS Fiesta Red. Look at pic next to my real 1963 Dakota Red.. WOW!
Look at arm fading/wear up where your arm rests on body when playing.. Just like a 40k Strat. Nice weather checking all over, and fading under guard.. It's a Master Piece of Fender Art Form****
This Body came from a 5-6k John Cruz early Custom Shop, Probably Cunetto finished/Relic Custom Shop. ( As Vince gave all necks and bodies back to Fender as Fender was to start doing the re finish and relic work.. in late 1999)
It don't get no better than this!
MY Name on this.. This is one of the Best Custom Shop Playing... Looking....Sounding....MoJo/Vibe Body I ever offered.. The Strat Played Perfect.. I was the 1st the take this Custom Shop apart, since John Cruz Built in Oct 1999
John Cruz Made.. He is a Master Builder with a 3 year wait to have him built you a Strat.. Price.. Over $9,000
I know and buy personally from Vince Cunetto. We have talk many times about how Cunetto got started farming out the Custom Shop Relic work... This did have the burned in headstock CS logo in back of headstock. Cunetto finished this and reliced..(Still has the burned into body Custom Shop Logo under pickup assembly.Only reason I parted this Killer Fiesta Red 1998 Relic was pickups were changed out to Seymour Duncans.. so was not 100%. But I get Killer Parts, from parting KILLER Guitar's!
YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER USA Custom Shop Body, unless it's a real 1960 Pre CBS one!
